Connect Twitch
Open the control panel
Go to the 🟣 Twitch tab and click Connect Twitch. You log in on twitch.tv and approve the permissions. Boostcast never sees your password.
Choose what's on
Switch on the parts you want. Alerts and predictions are toggles. Polls and the goal meter are off until you turn them on.
Test it
Every alert has a test button, so you can see it on stream before a viewer ever triggers it.
Alerts
Follow, sub, gift sub, bits and raid alerts appear as Rocket League-style stingers. Pick the style:
- Logo stinger: your own logo and colours (the default).
- Car: a car drives in, powerslides into the alert and bursts into sparks, with gems in the bits colour for cheers.
Each event can play a sound: the built-in chime or coin, or your own upload (mp3, ogg or wav). Move the alert box anywhere in the layout editor.
Hype train
The hype train is a car on a boost bar. It fills as the train progresses, revs at 80 %, shows ALMOST! at 95 % and does a front flip with sparks when a level completes.
Predictions that run themselves
Boostcast reads the match, so it can run Twitch predictions with no input from you:
- When you play: "Does your name win?" opens at kickoff and locks after 20 seconds.
- When you spectate or cast: "Who wins?" with the two team names.
- Best-of series: one prediction for the whole BO3/BO5/BO7 instead of one per game.
- Payout happens about 10 seconds after the result, so the prediction never spoils it before your stream delay catches up.
Polls and the creator goal meter
Twitch polls show as a live card with the votes, and your follower or sub goal shows as a Rocket League boost-style ring that fills up. Both are optional.
Stream markers
Every goal can add a Twitch stream marker, so you can jump to the goals when you cut highlights or VODs afterwards.
FAQ
Do I need StreamElements or Streamlabs alerts as well?
Not for Twitch follows, subs, gifts, bits, raids, the hype train, polls and goals: Boostcast shows those itself. You can still run another alert tool next to it if you want.
Can Twitch predictions run automatically in Rocket League?
Yes. Boostcast opens a prediction at kickoff, locks it after 20 seconds and pays it out about 10 seconds after the match ends, from the game's own data.
Can I use my own alert sounds?
Yes. Upload mp3, ogg or wav files in the control panel, or use the built-in chime and coin sounds.
Is connecting Twitch safe?
It uses Twitch's official login. Boostcast never sees your password, tokens are stored encrypted, and you can disconnect at any time.
Try it on your stream
Boostcast is in beta and free for testers: match intros, goal stingers, a live scoreboard, caster HUD and Twitch alerts from one OBS browser source. No mods, no BakkesMod, nothing to install.
