# Boostcast > Boostcast is a set of live stream overlays for Rocket League that react to the game by themselves, driven only by Rocket League's official Stats API. One link, no software: no external program, no mods, no plugins and no BakkesMod. You paste one personal overlay link as a browser source in OBS (or Streamlabs, XSplit, Meld or any app with a browser source) and that's it. It adds automatic match intros, goal stingers, a live scoreboard, a caster HUD, Twitch alerts and predictions and more, with no hotkeys or manual scene switching. Website: https://rocketleagueapi.com/ ยท Boostcast is in beta: free for testers, and new streamers, casters and teams can sign up to test it. ## One link, nothing to install - Setup is one link: every overlay (scoreboard, intros, stingers, alerts, HUDs) lives in that one browser source and switches on and off from the web control panel. - No program, launcher, agent, script or mod runs on the player's PC. Boostcast is a web page in a browser source. - It does not need BakkesMod or any other Rocket League mod, and it never touches the game files or memory. - It uses the Stats API that Psyonix built into Rocket League itself. Enabling it is one line in the game's own config file (PacketSendRate in TAStatsAPI.ini / DefaultStatsAPI.ini). Step-by-step guide: https://rocketleagueapi.com/guides/rocket-league-stats-api/ - The overlay reads the Stats API on the player's own PC (WebSocket port 49124) from inside the browser source. No VPN, no port forwarding, works behind any home router. - Works on Rocket League for PC (Steam and Epic). The Stats API is not available on console. ## Features - Match intros: both teams slam in at kickoff with names, platforms, Steam avatars and (where available) ranks; a "BOSS" warning for veteran opponents; 1v1 / 2v2 / 3v3 / Hoops layouts; the lobby's team names in private matches. - Goal stingers: scorer, assist and shot speed (km/h) the moment the ball goes in; gold "BANGER!" stinger with a flash and screen shake from 110 km/h; hat-trick stinger with the real goal count; own goal stinger (including deflections, with who touched it last). - Team logo stingers: upload a logo per side and goals play in that team's colours. Made for tournaments, casters, schools and company matches. - Live scoreboard: your team on the left (blue on the left when spectating), real team names from the lobby, animated score, clutch clock, overtime, best-of series (BO3/BO5/BO7) for private matches. - Facecam frames for casters and teams: a name bar under every player's webcam (names and live boost from the game), the player the camera follows lights up, goals / saves / demos flash on that cam; both teams or one side, own cam order. - Caster HUD for spectators: boost meters for all players with supersonic and demo state, and a card for the player the camera follows (goals, assists, saves, speed, boost). Hides itself during replays. - Stats board, explainer ticker and end-of-match summary; player cards with photos (or Steam avatars) and season averages from every recorded match. - Twitch, connected with one click in the control panel (official Twitch login): follow, sub, gift, bits and raid alerts (logo stinger or a powersliding car), with sounds; hype train as a car with a boost flame on a boost bar; Twitch polls and a follower/sub goal ring; automatic predictions every match or one prediction for a whole best-of series, paid out a few seconds after the result so the stream is never spoiled; stream markers on goals. - Twitch panel extension: live score, today's results, player cards and top predictors under the stream. - OBS automation (optional): auto-record matches with a chapter per goal, automatic scene switching at kickoff and after the match. - Clips (optional): the channel's Twitch clips, OBS replays and Medal clips cut to 9:16 with the streamer's own logo, colours and handles; reviewed first, then posted to TikTok, YouTube Shorts or Instagram Reels through their own upload-post.com account. - Four styles for the VS screen and the scoreboard: Classic, Epic (metal and lightning), Clean (flat broadcast look) and Retro (8-bit arcade). - Session W/L: wins and losses this stream with the last 10 results; a win rolls up with +1 WIN and a flame from three in a row. Resets when the stream goes live. - Win streak in the scoreboard name plate, and a "My cam" frame for the streamer's own webcam (logo, name, streak; own goals, saves and demos flash on it). - Vertical 9:16 overlay for TikTok LIVE: live scoreboard, LED marquee, goal stinger with the scorer's photo and the VS intro in portrait. - Built-in Twitch chat bot: custom commands, timers, !uptime, !followage, !so, !clip, !lastmatch, !series, quotes, giveaways, welcomes, thanks for subs and raids, link/caps/banned-word filters. - Phone remote (OBS scenes, overlay switches, series, predictions, live preview) and a Discord bot (/stats, /lastmatch, /leaderboard, /series; match results posted in the team's server). - Sponsor logo rotator and a channel-point 1v1 queue. - Optional boost meter that covers the game's own, with the streamer's logo behind the number; layout editor to drag every overlay box into place. - Control panel in the browser: colours, logos, team names, which overlays show, live preview and test buttons. Changes show on stream instantly. ## How it works 1. Turn on the Rocket League Stats API (one line in the game's config file): https://rocketleagueapi.com/guides/rocket-league-stats-api/ 2. Add one browser source with your personal overlay link in OBS, Streamlabs or any streaming app (or open it in a browser tab). That one link is the whole setup; it updates itself between matches. 3. Play, spectate or cast.
